I am a postdoctoral researcher with a PhD in the natural sciences, and throughout my academic journey one constant has remained at the centre of my life: a profound love for animals. I believe, wholeheartedly, that animals are among the greatest gifts our world has to offer. Their unconditional affection, their curiosity, and their ability to bring calm and joy into any room are things I never take for granted. I want every pet to feel truly at home, even when their owner cannot be there. I know how difficult it can be to leave a beloved companion in someone else's care, and I take that trust seriously. My scientific background has given me a careful, methodical, and attentive approach to everything I do, and pet sitting is no exception. I observe, I adapt, and I genuinely invest in the wellbeing of each animal in my care. I have cared for dogs, cats, and small animals belonging to friends, colleagues, and family over many years, and I am comfortable managing a range of breeds, temperaments, and needs. I understand animal behaviour and approach any anxious or shy pet with patience and gentleness.
