I'm a 29 year old professional who misses regular interaction with dogs since my relocation to Luxembourg. Dogs have always been a part of my life (having our own family German Shepherd - Argo growing up, spending time with my causins' dogs, aunt's dog...) and when time allowed being a dog sitter in Maastricht during my student years, I developed deep connection with the animals which I would love to continue during my stay in Luxembourg.

Since my current job does not allow me to be a full time dog owner yet, I would love to take care of your dogs at least for a few days during your travel outside of Luxembourg.

I am attentive and responsible and understand dogs' various needs while they are young (which might include longer walks, dog park or forest visits if desired), snuggles & a lot of play time, but I also can relate to the fact that older dogs mostly need companionship and a kind word (of course the walks and cuddles included). I'm also aware some dogs might be reactive towards others, or they might simply be scared/shy and I make sure to accommodate them so they feel comfortable.

I also understand your need to stay in touch and will gladly update you regularly on your friend's day while you are away.

During the stay at my apartment, I would be at home (work from home) the whole time to make sure your dog is not left alone. I am able to take regular walks in the morning (30-45min), during lunch time (45min), after work (1-2h if desired) and before bed (20min) but really everything depends on the dog's routine and schedule. The dog would always have access to water and be fed regularly as agreed.

Since I am in Luxembourg, I already visited the dog shelter and offered the furballs some walks to make their days nicer as above all, I believe what a dog needs is kindness and a sense of care - and what they give back is priceless, thats why we all love them and care for them deeply. After I settle down, my wish is to adopt a dog from a shelter from my home town, Kosice, Slovakia.
