🐾 Dog & Cat Sitting – University Student, Animal Lover & Trail Runner 🌿🐕

Hello, I’m VITA! 👋

I’m a respectful, reliable, versatile and energetic university student with a genuine love for animals. Having grown up in the countryside between Italy and southern Luxembourg, I have always enjoyed being surrounded by nature and animals.

I am also passionate about sport, hiking and trail running, so I particularly enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs. Whether your pet prefers a quiet walk in the park, lots of cuddles at home or a longer adventure in the countryside, I will adapt to their personality, energy level and usual routine. 🐕🌿🐈

My priority is always your pet’s health, safety and wellbeing.

🐾 Before the first booking

I strongly recommend arranging a meet & greet before the first booking. This allows us to get to know each other, discuss your pet’s habits and routine, and make sure everyone feels comfortable.

Please let me know about:

1. Allergies or medical conditions

2. Medication

3. Dietary requirements

4. Behavioural needs or sensitivities

5. Your pet’s usual routine

6. Any other special requirements

With a veterinarian’s prescription and clear instructions, I can administer medication during the day.

🐕 Dog Walking

I currently care for small- to medium-sized dogs, with a maximum of 2 dogs at the same time.

Walks can be adapted to your dog’s age, personality, fitness level and energy.

I offer:

1. Relaxed walks in local parks 🌳

2. Visits to dog parks

3. Countryside and nature walks 🌿

4. Longer walks for active dogs

5. Running sessions for suitable, active dogs 🏃‍♀️🐕

6. Walks of approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour

7. Up to 3 walks per day, if requested

Walks normally start from your home and are adapted to your preferences and your dog’s usual routine. I am familiar with Luxembourg City and the surrounding areas, including many enjoyable walking routes and natural spaces.

🏡 Home Visits

I can visit your pet at home while you are working, travelling, on holiday or simply away for the day or evening.

Home visits last between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on your booking and your pet’s needs. I will always stay for a minimum of 30 minutes.

During each visit, I can:

1. Feed your pet and provide snacks according to your instructions

2. Refresh water bowls

3. Administer medication when required

4. Clean litter trays or small accidents

5. Groom your pet when needed

6. Play, cuddle and provide companionship

7. Take your dog for a walk

8. Check that your pet is comfortable and everything is in order

9. Send you photos and regular updates 📸

For cats, I can take care of feeding, water, litter trays, grooming, medication, playtime and companionship.

For dogs, I can manage feeding, exercise, medication and other agreed requirements while providing plenty of attention, affection and patience.

🏠 House Sitting

When house sitting, I can stay with your pets for extended periods during the day and overnight, according to your booking.

My goal is to maintain your pet’s normal routine so they can feel safe, comfortable and relaxed in their own home while you are away.

I will also:

1. Respect your home and privacy

2. Keep doors and windows securely locked

3. Carefully follow instructions regarding keys, alarms and household routines

4. Keep your home clean and tidy

5. Water plants or collect mail if requested 🌱📬

6. Send regular updates, photos and videos of your pets

Your home will be treated with the same care and respect that I would expect someone to show in my own home.

🐶 Day Care

During day care, I focus on giving your pet companionship, attention, exercise and rest according to their normal routine.

In accordance with Pawshake guidelines, pets in my care during day care will not be left alone for more than one hour.

📍 Availability & Transportation

I have a driving licence and my own car, which allows me to travel easily around Luxembourg and nearby areas for walks, home visits and house sitting. 🚗

During university holidays, I have excellent availability and can dedicate a large part of my day to pet care, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

During the university year, I am mainly available in the afternoons and evenings during the week, as well as at weekends.

I always try to adapt my schedule to the needs of both owners and their pets.

💚 A little more about me

I am currently also helping my boyfriend, Paolo, with his Pawshake account, which has allowed me to become even more familiar with pet sitting and the Pawshake community. 😊

For me, looking after an animal is not simply about feeding them or taking them for a walk. It is about giving them attention, patience, affection and companionship while respecting their individual personality and routine.
