Hi, I'm Paolo! 🐶

I grew up with dogs and have been surrounded by them since I was a child. Looking after them has always been a natural part of my daily life. I currently live alone in a house with a fully fenced garden in Luxembourg City. My own dog is staying with my family during the summer holidays, so your pet will receive my full attention during their stay.

I am currently a university student, but the academic year has finished, which means I have a very flexible schedule. I spend most of my time at home and can supervise guest pets throughout the day. During boarding, pets are never left alone for more than 3 hours, and during day care they are never left alone for more than 1 hour, in accordance with Pawshake's guidelines. My daily routine revolves around the dogs I care for, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, companionship, exercise and affection.

Boarding & Day Care at My Home

When your dog stays with me, I provide:

• Constant supervision for most of the day.
• Fresh water available at all times.
• Feeding according to your dog's normal routine and instructions.
• Administration of oral medication, if required.
• Playtime (ball launcher), enrichment activities and lots of attention.
• photo and video updates so you can see how your pet is doing.
• Comfortable indoor sleeping areas where your dog can sleep safely. Dogs are welcome to sleep inside the house in a quiet, comfortable room, following their usual routine whenever possible

Walks & Exercise

I normally walk dogs 3 to 4 times per day, with each walk lasting 20 to 30 minutes, although I am happy to adapt the routine to your dog's age, energy level and individual needs.

I live in a central area of Luxembourg City with many excellent walking routes nearby. I am also very active and enjoy spending time outdoors. I own a ball launcher for energetic dogs who enjoy playing fetch, and when appropriate and with the owner's permission, I take dogs to suitable open spaces or forest walks for extra exercise and mental stimulation.

Home Visits

During home visits, I can stay 30 to 60 minutes depending on your booking and your pet's needs. During each visit I can:

• Feed your pet.
• Refresh water bowls.
• Give medication if needed.
• Clean litter trays or accidents.
• Spend quality time playing, cuddling or simply keeping your pet company.
• Take dogs for walks of 20 to 30 minutes (or longer if requested).
• Send regular updates and photos after every visit.

House Sitting

When house sitting, I can stay with your pets for extended periods during the day and overnight according to your booking. My priority is maintaining your pet's normal routine so they feel safe and relaxed in their own home.

While staying in your home, I will:

• Respect your property and privacy.
• Keep doors and windows securely locked.
• Follow all instructions regarding alarms, keys and household routines.
• Keep your home clean and tidy.
• Water plants or collect mail if requested.
• Send daily updates with photos and videos.

Availability

At the moment, I am available morning, afternoon and evening, including weekends in most cases. Since I am on university break, I have excellent availability and can dedicate a large part of my day to caring for pets.

I have a driving licence and my own car, allowing me to travel easily around Luxembourg and nearby areas for home visits or house sitting.

My Experience

I have experience caring for both small and large dogs of different breeds and personalities. My own dog requires medication, so I am comfortable administering medication when needed. I always pay close attention to each dog's behaviour, health and comfort, making sure they have fresh water, appropriate meals, exercise and plenty of affection.

In addition, I volunteered for four months at a dog shelter in Tenerife, where I cared for dogs of many different breeds, sizes and temperaments. This experience taught me how to remain calm, patient and attentive in many different situations.

I speak English 🇬🇧, Italian 🇮🇹, French 🇫🇷 and Portuguese 🇵🇹 (B2), making communication easy for many pet owners.

The safety, happiness and wellbeing of every animal in my care will always be my highest priority. I understand that every pet is unique, and I will always adapt my care to their individual needs and routine.
