Hallo, ich bin Joy und biete Tierbetreuung bei den Besitzerinnen und Besitzern zu Hause an. Ich habe selbst eine neunjährige Französische Bulldogge und hatte früher auch Kaninchen und Fische. Dadurch kenne ich verschiedene Bedürfnisse von Tieren und weiß, dass jedes Tier seinen eigenen Charakter und seine eigene Routine hat.
Seit ich ungefähr 12 Jahre alt bin, habe ich Hunde in meiner eigenen Familie selbst betreut. Das war meist in der Nähe von zu Hause, sodass ich regelmäßig hingehen und mich eigenständig um sie kümmern konnte. Später habe ich auch Hunde von Freunden betreut und bereits Katzen in der Familie bei ihnen zu Hause versorgt.
Mir ist wichtig, dass die Betreuung nicht nach einem festen Schema läuft, sondern so, wie es für dein Tier passt und wie du es dir wünschst. Vorher bespreche ich deshalb alles Wichtige: Futterzeiten, Spaziergänge, Gesundheit, Medikamente, Gewohnheiten, Ängste, Verträglichkeit und Regeln zu Hause.
Auch die Länge der Betreuung hängt davon ab, was wir vorher abmachen. Ich biete gerne auch längere Betreuungen an, zum Beispiel einen ganzen Vormittag oder Nachmittag. Genauso sind kleinere Check-ins möglich, wenn die Entfernung passt, zum Beispiel zwei- bis dreimal am Tag für etwa 30 Minuten. Spaziergänge passe ich ebenfalls an den Hund an, je nachdem, was er gewohnt ist und braucht.
Ich bin offen für verschiedene Tierarten und lerne schnell, wenn eine Betreuung für mich neu ist. Mir ist das Wohlbefinden der Tiere am wichtigsten. Ich achte aufmerksam auf Verhalten, Stimmung und kleine Veränderungen. Bei Unsicherheiten oder Notfällen melde ich mich direkt. Auf Wunsch schicke ich regelmäßige Updates oder Fotos.

Growing up, I always dreamed of having a pet of my own, especially a dog and although I don’t currently live with one, I find every opportunity I can to spend time with animals. That’s exactly what motivated me to become a pet sitter — it allows me to give love, care, and attention to pets while helping their owners.
I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats for friends and family, especially when they were away on vacation. I made sure their pets were well-fed, had enough playtime, and felt safe and happy in their owners’ absence. I really enjoy going on long walks, especially when the weather is nice.
