Hello,

I am pleased to offer support for your cat(s) if you need to be away for short periods, I offer house sitting and home visits. Details of each service vary and can be adapted to suit the needs of your cat. 

Since January 2024 we have a female cat at our place, Amylin. She is 1y old and friendly with other people and pets.

*IMPORTANT*: I have no car and can help only in Mersch (or Luxembourg city if for short periods).

- Home visits: I come to your place for a "check in". Your cat is fed, given fresh water, given medication if necessary, litter is cleaned (and I can dispose of waste in the way you will indicate). I usually stay around 30 mins to make sure everything is alright, play with your pet and provide company. I will happily send pics taken during the visit.

I completely understand that cat owners want their companions well looked after when they are away from home. I feel that having responsible sitter care for them in their familiar environment is among the best of options. A loving presence and maintaining your cat's routines will help to ease possible separation pains. For me, cat care involves:

basic needs: food, water and a clean litter-box

companionship: cuddles, playtime, brushing

security: making sure your cat doesn't escape through an open door or window

Something more about me: I am Italian, have lived in Luxembourg for about 4 years, I used to cat-sit frequently for my brother back in Rome. So far in Luxembourg I have helped three families with their cats prior to join this website, and I volunteered with a cat-fostering association for short stays waiting that the cats get adopted.
