*passeggiate di 1h o piĂą;
*visite a casa per passare del tempo a giocare così il vostro amico non si sentirà da solo per tutto il giorno
*passare la notte a casa vostra
I just moved to Trieste to study to become a social worker. But I would love to take care of some four (or less) legged friend and go for some walks fighting the wind. :)
I often did housesitting for long periods and have references. Services I offer are:
*go for walks
*coming to check on them at your house
*I'd gladly spend the night over if you need to leave or are on vacation and don't want them to be alone. Maybe there are more things I didn't mention or think about so don't be afraid to ask any question :)
I am okay with any kind of animal, if you explaint to me any special needs I'd be happy to see if I can accomodate them. I don't know about very big dogs because I'm a bit short but if they are well behaved during walks or if they just need me in the house there wouldn't be any problem.
ABOUT ME
My life is always full of surprises and changes except for one thing: my love for animals!
I used to travel a lot in the past years and there hasn't been a place in which I didn't have the pleasure to meet a furry (or bald;) friend and take care of them.
My most valued experiences are the one at an Animal Farm Sanctuary in my home country - Italy - where many kinds of animals lived peacefully after being saved by exploitations or abusive situation. The place was quite big and the animals were many: from the classic farm animals like hens, sheep, goats, pigs, cows, horses.. to bunnies, dogs, cats and even wildboars! There I had the task of cleaning the everyday habitat of the various animals but also to give guided tours around the farm showing people how animals of different species are able to live together when they are not forced in tiny spaces and treated with cruelty. I stayed there for almost three year.
Another highlight was my work with an animal shelter and Kennel in Poland while I was living there for 1.5 year. There I was taking all kinds of dog for long walks and cleaning their sleeping places. Taking care of shelter dogs is always a bit an experiment beacuse many don't trust humans anymore or don't want unnecessary attention: the most important thing is to adapt your behaviour to the needs of the dog/cat and don't force our human standards on them, if your animal companion doesn't want to cuddle it's important to respect that!
A part from this I often took care of the house animals of the places where I was staying at while I was working/doing work away or just travelling. There were easy animals and some that needed more time to start to accept you and trust you.
I hope to hear from you soon!
