I was born and raised in Mauritius blessed in a family of pet lovers(especially dogs). I have had more than 10 dogs throughout my life so far and each of them have left an unforgettable footprint in my heart.

In Mauritius, stray dogs are very common, and my mom, brother and now my wife, we used to organize small sterilization campaigns to prevent stray dogs from multiplying as the small pups suffer a lot on the streets with starvation, disease, but more importantly a lack of love and family. We even organized adoption campaigns and rescue missions where one of my pet doggy back in Mauritius, was rescued on the verge of starvation in drain with the help of emergency response team. She had 7 pups with her, and shortly after all the pups were adopted by people of my network. Unfortunately or fortunately should I say, no one was willing to adopt the mom, who was in weak, unable to walk and sick. I brought her home, and she was warmly welcomed by all my other dogs and my mom. Today, Simba (the rescued mommy), is a fine little lady, with a lovely life and my loving home back in Mauritius.

Coming here in Luxembourg for work, has left this void in our lives, where on best days we are able to caress the pups of strangers. But now, with this platform, we can be foster parents again, even just for a while.
